Carbondale, IL – Carbondale Public Library will host the new season of Indie Lens Pop-Up, the community-driven screening series from Independent Lens | PBS. Indie Lens Pop-Up is a neighborhood series that brings people together for film screenings and community-led conversations. The series will take place monthly at Carbondale Public Library on third Sundays from 2-4PM and will run January through April, 2026.
Indie Lens Pop-Up will kick off later this month on January 18th at 2PM with a screening of The Librarians, a documentary about librarians across the U.S. examining how book review policies are shaping their communities. This event is free and open to the public.
