CARTERVILLE, IL — January 17, 2026 — Food Works is excited to announce the 2026
Southern Illinois Farming Alliance Conference (SIFA Conference), taking place Saturday,
January 17, 2026 from 12-5pm, at John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL.
This annual conference focuses on sustainable agriculture in Southern Illinois and brings
together farmers, homesteaders, agriculture educators, students, and food system advocates
from across Southern Illinois and surrounding regions for a full day of education, networking,
and community engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from expert speakers,
discover resources to support your farm or homestead, and explore innovative practices in
sustainable agriculture and local food systems.
