CARTERVILLE, IL – Artspace Southern Illinois, with support from Creating Good
Chaos, the Illinois Arts Council, Illinois Humanities, and John A Logan College, proudly
announces the second Arts + Humanities Amaze Southern Illinois Regional Conference.
This lively event will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at John A. Logan College in
Carterville, Illinois, in partnership with the Annual Illinois Art Educators Conference.
Artspace Southern Illinois’s Arts + Humanities Amaze (formerly Arts Amaze) will include
presentations, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops led by regional experts.
Artists, performers, creatives, writers, historians, educators, advocates, and arts and
culture organizations connect, collaborate, create, cultivate, and celebrate the
innovation of our regional creatives across the arts and humanities, inspiring new ideas
within Southern Illinois’s rich cultural history. We are honored to welcome Beth Lo, a
celebrated ceramicist, educator, illustrator, and musician, as our keynote speaker.
Call for Proposals
Artspace Southern Illinois invites arts professionals to submit proposals to present or
lead a workshop at this exceptional event.
Presenters receive an honorarium and complimentary conference admission.
