Y’all Rock Carbondale welcomes the community to attend its 2025 Camper Showcase!
The showcase will take place Saturday July 12th at 5pm.
The showcase will be held in Ballroom D of the SIU Student Center 1255 Lincoln Dr, Carbondale, IL 62901
The showcase will hold performances from the bands created as part of our 2025 Rock Camp that takes place the prior week July 7-11th at the Eurma C. Hayes Center.
Our 2025 Rock Camp is our 11th annual summer music camp. This year we are welcoming 55 campers ranging from school-grade ages 3-12. Campers will spend the week learning instrument instruction, getting creative in various workshops, and rocking out with their bands!
They will then show off their inner rock star on Saturday, July 12th at the Camper Grand Showcase!
Y’all Rock Carbondale is a youth-centered music organization that cultivates an empowering space for girls, women, trans and gender non-conforming people to collaborate and experiment in music, expression, performance, and collective care.
Y’all Rock Carbondale aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for campers and volunteers. For this reason, we do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race/ethnicity, class, ability, religion, immigration status, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. Our goal is for camp to be fun and safe for any and all campers and volunteers. YRC believes in gender self-determination and our camp is open to girls, women, and trans and gender non-conforming people.
