Slow down, take a breath and re-boot! On Friday, October 14th from
6-7 pm join local Interpreter Steve Gariepy for a casual, relaxing walk along the 1/3 mile
accessible Post Oak Trail.
Listen to voices expressing love for and connection to the outdoors, the environment,
and the planet. Consider and discuss quotes with the group while reflecting upon your
own nature voice and expressions. Bring a favorite quote to share.
This will be an outdoor program.
Giant City State Park is administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The mission of the IDNR is to manage, conserve and protect Illinois’ natural,
recreational and cultural resources, further the public’s understanding and appreciation
of those resources, and promote the education, science and public safety of Illinois’
natural resources for present and future generations.
