The exhibition Beautiful Southern Illinois in Every Season by photographer Suzanne Asaturian
is on view through March and April at The Corridor Gallery. The photographs showcase
Southern Illinois diverse flora and fauna that change with the seasons, offering new experiences
year round. From migrating birds in our flyway zone to fall colors on deciduous trees to rainfall
cascading water over bluffs, Asaturian’s work captures the captivating views continuously
throughout the year. As a retired science teacher of 35 years, Asaturian passion for
understanding the natural world is magnified through the camera’s lens.
The Corridor Gallery is located in the Carbondale Civic Center. Visitors can view the exhibition
