– Enjoy the beauty of spring in southern Illinois during upcoming Spring Wildflower Walks at
Giant City State Park on Saturday, April 1, Saturday, April 8, and Friday, April 14. Each walk is scheduled
from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm.
Trillium Trail in Giant City State Park is one of the most diverse spring wildflower trails in southern Illinois.
Join the Park Interpreter as we meander through the spring woods and take a closer look at these petite beauties.
The program is free and open to the public, but registration is required. For more information, contact the
Giant City Visitor Center at 618-457-4836.
Giant City State Park is administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The mission of the IDNR
is to manage, conserve and protect Illinois’ natural, recreational and cultural resources, further the public’s
understanding and appreciation of those resources, and promote the education, science and public safety of
Illinois’ natural resources for present and future generations.
