Spring is right around the corner, and so are the region’s best drag performers, who will be taking the stage at the Varsity on Friday, March 10. Join Blanche DuBois, the Godmother of drag in Southern Illinois, for the Spring Break Drag Show.
Regular featured performers are Jodie Santana, Faim Lee Jewls, Leiyana Santana, Holly Haliwell, Kailey Santana and Christina Garnette, who will also be the evening’s hostess.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Doors and the Varsity Bar open at 6.
This is an all-ages show, and the venue welcomes young people; however, the show can be on the risqué side, and those 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Tickets are $10 for adults or $5 for students with ID. They are available in advance at Eventbrite (bit.ly/3VH7E2T). Tickets are not available in advance at the venue but will be available on the night of the show when doors open at 6. Be sure to get tickets early; these shows almost always sell out.
