The Illinois Amish Heritage Center presents Sheep to Clothing to Quilts, Saturday May 14th 2022 from 9am to 4pm. Sheep Shearing, Wool Washing, Wool Dying (extracting organic dyes), Spinning Wheels, Loom Weaving, Quilt Piecing and Quilting, and a Petting Zoo. Additional display and demonstrations are coming.
Admission: $5.00 per person, 12 & under free. A sandwich and drink lunch will be available.
Rain Date: May 21st.
The Illinois Amish Heritage Center is located jus off Rt. 57, nine miles west of Arcola, through Chesterville, on Rt. 133. From Arthur: 3 miles east on Rt. 133.
