Have you ever thought about becoming a licensed IHSA Official?
Now is your chance to see what it’s all about! You’re invited to a new officials informative
meeting to get all the details you need to make that decision. Whether you’re interested in
basketball, football, softball, soccer, wrestling, track and field, please come get information to
help you get involved in junior high and high school sports officiating.
Below is the location, date and time of the Officiating 101 meeting:
Marion High School: Thursday, April 28 – 7:00pm – 9:00pm in the Cafeteria
Enter school at the back doors by the gym.
We will be discussing why you would want to become an official, how to become licensed,
equipment needs for each sport, tutorial on navigating the IHSA website, how to book games
along with the financial and personal gain you may experience as an official.
