Join us for a conversation with Professor Charles Ruffner, from the SIU Forestry Department. Prof Ruffner will be sharing how his forest ecology spirit drives both his work at the university and led him to the Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship. He will also share how he puts this spirit into practice with projects such as the new pollinator prairie at CUF. Professor Ruffner has worked with groups locally, nationally, and internationally on environmental issues. Question and answer period to follow conversation.
