Cindy Galway Buys is a well-known Professor and Director of International Programs at the Southern Illinois University School of Law. She teaches and publishes in the areas of international, immigration, and constitutional law, and has been active locally in promoting immigration rights and aid to refugees including CAIRS (Carbondale Area Interfaith Refugee Support) and the Afghan Sponsor Circle project.
