Bob Bahr, President of the local Crime Stoppers program, and Randy Mathis, Community Resource Officer with Carbondale Police Department, will discuss the Crime Stoppers program at the Southern Illinois Learning in Retirement monthly meeting (via Zoom). They will discuss the program at the local, state, and national levels and provide examples of the program’s successes. They also will address some of the legal and legislative issues Crime Stoppers face, as well as what law enforcement appreciates most about the program.
