Learning in Retirement ‘On the Road’ for “Inside New Harmony” Tour
Learning in Retirement ‘On the Road’ will be heading to New Harmony, Indiana, on Thursday, May 7, for a full day of historic adventures and lunch at the Red Geranium. The itinerary includes Historic New Harmony’s guided tram tour with stops at four sites and a walking tour (about a quarter mile) with five stops sponsored by Indiana Museums and Historic Sites. The bus will depart at 7:30 am from SIU’s south Banterra Center parking lot and return by 6:30 pm. Parking is free.
To register, call SIU Events and Outreach at 618-536-7751 by April 10. The nonrefundable cost for the trip, including lunch, is $115 for Learning in Retirement members and $128 for nonmembers. Please keep your registration receipt and bring it with you. Either a paper or an electronic version on your smart phone will work.
