John Antes presents, “So… What’s Happening at SIH?”
John Antes, President and CEO of Southern Illinois Healthcare, will be the featured speaker at the March 18 meeting of Southern Illinois Learning in Retirement. He will share recent developments across SIH and offer perspectives on opportunities and challenges currently shaping health care delivery for communities like those in southern Illinois.
Antes has been President and CEO of SIH since January, 2022. An advocate for strengthening access to care in rural communities, Antes has more than 30 years of experience in health care leadership, including prior service as the President of Missouri Baptist Medical Center. At SIH, Antes leads a multi-hospital system providing a range of services across Southern Illinois. In addition to his role at SIH, Antes serves on the Board of Trustees for the Illinois Health and Hospital Association which represents more than 200 hospitals and 40 health systems across the state.
The presentation, free and open to the public, will begin at 10:30 am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Chautauqua, Carbondale. A coffee and social hour begins at 9:30 am.
