Herby Voss presents Thrillville and the S.T.A.R. Bond District: From Renderings to Reality, at the September 16 meeting of Southern Illinois Learning in Retirement
Illinois’ first Sales Tax and Revenue (S.T.A.R.) bond project is transforming the former Illinois Centre Mall in Marion into a regional retail, sports, and entertainment destination known as Oasis. Oasis and Thrillville are turning big ideas into interactive experiences for families, athletes, shoppers, and visitors. Herby Voss, Oasis Marketing and Communications Director for the S.T.A.R. project, will share the latest updates on the transformative projects occurring on Marion’s west side.
Herby Voss leads brand strategy and multi-channel communications across a diverse portfolio that includes Black Diamond Harley-Davidson, the Oasis businesses, ThrillHouse Family Entertainment Center, Kokopelli Golf Course, and Mtn Dew Park.
The presentation, free and open to the public, will begin at 10:30 am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Chautauqua, Carbondale. A coffee and social hour begins at 9:30 am.
