Brian Crain, a 3rd generation licensed funeral director and embalmer, will discuss funerals, cremation, documentation, and other relevant end of life concerns at the Southern Illinois Learning in Retirement monthly meeting.
Over 30 years ago, Brian Crain, his father, and his uncle established the first funeral home and cemetery combination in Southern Illinois at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. In addition to the family operation, Brian serves on the board of directors of the Illinois Cemetery & Funeral Home Association and served two terms as president. He also serves on the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation licensing and disciplinary board.
