The Order of the Eastern Star is the world’s largest philanthropic fraternity that admits both men and women to membership. In Illinois, our approximately 15,000 members support many worthwhile charities and outstanding projects. We as a local chapter raise funds through events like this to support national charities that support Diabetes Funds, Heart Disease, Cancer Research. Locally we make donations to organizations such as CASA and Down the Leash and provide scholarships to local students. This is just a small glimpse of what all the organization does, but with your help we can always do more.
