Percussionist Kevin Lucas of Pomona, IL, will perform his annual Good Samaritan House homeless fundraiser concert on Saturday, September 19, 2 to 5 PM at Blue Sky Vineyard in Makanda, IL.
Donations are optional and 100 percent of funds raised go to the shelter.
Kevin Lucas has had another successful year. He and Grant Maloy Smith won the Simi Valley Film Festival in Simi Valley, CA for “Best Music Video” for the second year in a row. This year “Wade in the Water” won, which was filmed at Lake of the Ozarks on Kevin Lucas’ waterfront property.
Grant and Kevin also won three awards in Americana categories on Saturday evening in Los Angeles at the 2026 Indie Music Channel Awards for their new single “Love is Where I’ve Always Been “
