Kevin Lucas will perform his annual Good Samaritan House of Carbondale homeless shelter fundraiser on Saturday, July 19, from 2 to 5 PM, at Blue Sky Vineyard. This year’s concert is special because Top 10 Billboard Americana Artist Grant Maloy Smith will be performing a few songs. Grant will be visiting from Rhode Island to film two new music videos that they are making together in southern Illinois and Lake of the Ozarks.
This is the second year Blue Sky Vineyard will be hosting the event, after record breaking donations last year. This is the 8th year of the event organized by Kevin Lucas and coordinated by Patty Mullen of the Good Samaritan House.
“I am extremely grateful to Blue Sky Vineyard For hosting this event and it’s going to be such an honor to perform with Grant again, as we continue to work on our duo album”, said Lucas. “I’m beyond honored to be in a position to try and help the Good Samaritan House every year”. Kevin’s next concerts will be at the 2025 Illinois State Fair in Springfield. Kevin and Grant will also perform at the Lincoln Center in New York City in December.
Donations are optional and there is no cover charge.
