CARBONDALE – The Good Samaritan Ministries will host the 26th Annual Souper Bowl of Caring
Virtual Campaign from February 1 st – 8 th . The Souper Bowl of Caring, created by Tackle Hunger, is a
national movement that mobilizes communities across the U.S. to fight food insecurity.
Since 1985, Good Samaritan Ministries has provided shelter, food, counseling, and advocacy for those in
need. Through its transitional housing program, emergency shelter, soup kitchen, and food pantry, the
organization works to help individuals experiencing homelessness regain stability and access essential
resources.
For more than two decades, Good Samaritan Ministries has hosted the Annual Souper Bowl of Caring,
continuing this year with the support of Saluki Football. As millions gear up for game day, they’re
gearing up to fight hunger on our home turf. Whether you’re a sports fan or not, this is your chance to
