9th Annual Sale to Fight Hunger
Church Women United of Carbondale announces the 49th annual Sale to Fight Hunger, a giant yard sale to be held Friday April 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday April 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Mall.
Donations of usable items of all sorts are needed, including household items, electronics, furniture, books, toys, jewelry, plants, tools, and clothing. No major appliances, please. Donations will be accepted at the University Mall on Tuesday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday April 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday April 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No clothing accepted on Thursday.
Volunteers will be needed April 22-27, to help with a variety of tasks. To volunteer or for more information, contact Katie Carl at (618) 925-2252.
