Carbondale, IL: October was energy awareness month and November is a month for gratitude. These sentiments will be highlighted at Confluence Books’ next book reading. Aur Beck has written Living Off-Grid, Really — part how-to book and part memoir of a youth lived mostly off grid and a career helping others achieve energy independence through his business, AES Solar. There are many examples of the joys and freedom to be found in a simpler lifestyle.
The reading will be Sunday, November 30th at 3 p.m. at Confluence Books, 705 West Main Street in Carbondale. Parking is available off Forest Avenue.
