MAKANDA, IL – Head out to Giant City State Park on Saturday, June 6th where we will be celebrating National Trails
Day with a special “Hiking Boot” challenge. Each of the seven hiking trails in the Park will have a hidden “hiking boot.”
To participate in the challenge:
Walk just two of the seven trails and take a selfie at each of the boots.
When you have completed two trails, bring your selfies into the Visitors Center between 8am and 3:30pm on Saturday,
June 6th for a super cool and FREE hiking sticker!
