Carbondale, IL — Carbondale Main Street is excited to bring a fresh twist on a beloved
community tradition. The 2026 Brown Bag Concert Series is back and this year, it’s hitting
downtown in a whole new way.
Instead of a single location, this year’s concerts will take place at a variety of downtown
businesses, giving attendees the chance to enjoy FREE live local music while exploring some of
their favorite spots and maybe discovering a few new ones along the way.
The free, family-friendly concert series will take place every Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00
PM, running May through June. Guests are encouraged to bring a friend, grab lunch, and soak in
the vibrant downtown atmosphere. Free parking is available for the duration of the concert.
Making it even easier to stop by and enjoy the show.
Each concert will also be streamed live on Carbondale Main Street’s Facebook page. For those
who can’t make it in person.
