Carbondale Main Street is partnering with Southern Illinois University Fermentation Science Institute and
Southern Illinois Brewers to host the 9th CarbondALE Brew Fest!
CarbondALE Brew Fest will be held in the Town Square Pavilion on Friday, May 3rd, rain or shine, from 6pm9pm with early entry for VIP and after party at Buckwater Brew Works and Whiskey House & Hangar 9 (free
entry with Brew Fest general admission & VIP wrist band) beginning at 9pm.
This event provides a wide array of beer and beverages from over 30 local and national breweries for attendees
to taste and enjoy.
Advance tickets are $25 for General Admission and include a souvenir tasting glass and tastes. $45 for VIP,
which includes a premium tasting glass, tastes, early entry to the Fest and more! The pricing will be $30 for
General Admission and $50 VIP at the door! This event is a fundraiser for the Fermentation Science Institute
and Carbondale Main Street.
The Fermentation Science Institute will use the funds raised from the CarbondALE Brew Fest to further the
mission of the institute, including the support of student activities, community outreach and support of
fermentation related economic development and tourism.
Carbondale Main Street will be using the funds from this festival to continue improvement and revitalization
efforts in Downtown Carbondale which includes; façade improvement grants, free community events,
landscaping projects and more!
