Artspace Southern Illinois is pleased to present a community exhibition as part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read events taking place in our region. Our community book selection is Harriet Tubman: The Road to Freedom, and in celebration of her inspiring example, the exhibition focuses on the themes of Courage and Freedom.
Submission Information
- The exhibition will be on view October 6–31 in the Corridor Gallery at the Carbondale Civic Center
- Artists are invited to submit one or two original artworks in any 2D medium, with limited space available for 3D works
- Pieces must be ready to hang and no larger than 24 inches
- Entry fee is $5 per artwork, with fee waivers available
- Submission deadline is Sunday, September 20
