• It’s an event that focuses on finding &
identifying as many species as possible in
a specific area over a short period of
time.
• Everyone is invited to help Audubon
members document as many birds,
flowering plants and insects as we can!
• Using the apps iNaturalist & Merlin on
our smartphones, as well as help from
experts.
• Event runs from 4:30AM – 3 PM
• Intros & orientations at 8 AM, 10 AM and
Noon
• Why Start so early? The birds are singing!
And we can ID them!
• No preregistration required
• Snacks & drinks provided
• Please wear proper footwear, dress for
the weather & leave pets at home
• Signs will be posted, don’t give up if you
feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere!
