ALL SPECIES PUPPET PARADE AND EARTH DAY CELEBRATION! Earth Day, Monday, April 22 Celebrate this good earth with the Beloved Puppetistas and friends! Join us for the 10th annual All Species Puppet Parade and Earth Day Celebration on Monday, April 22, 2024. Gather at 5:00 pm at the Carbondale Town Square Pavilion. The parade kicks off at 5:30 pm and returns to the Pavilion by 6:15 for the Circle of Gratitude. Enjoy all-ages environmental activities –Earth Ball, composting demo, Painting the Earth with Project Human X, collage from recycled materials, kite-making, and more… Check out the free environmental book giveaway sponsored by the Sierra Club and Confluence Books. The Neighborhood Co-op Grocery will provide vegan hot dogs. Bring your folding lawn chairs, dinner, and drinks, and enjoy listening and dancing to the wonderful music of Loose Gravel. Thanks to all our partners for their most generous donations of activities, giveaways, food, and music! The event is free – all are welcome to attend!
