Skyline Creek Productions and the Varsity present an evening with Greg Sestero, star of “The Room” and New York Times best-selling author of the Oscar-nominated film “The Disaster Artist.”
The March 24 event will include an extended Q&A with Sestero, a live script-reading of the original unedited draft of “The Room,” and a screening of the movie. Patrons will also have a chance to get autographs and photos, and a surprise or two.
There will be two chances to catch this unique show. The first begins at 7 p.m. with pre-screening activities and a showing of “The Room” at 8 p.m. The second program begins at 11 p.m. with the screening of the movie at midnight. The Varsity Bar will be open throughout the evening. Doors and the Varsity Bar open one hour before the program begins.
Sestero also wrote and produced “Best Friends, Vols 1 and 2,” and was most recently seen in Netflix’s popular gothic-drama mini-series “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” His directorial horror genre debut, “Miracle Valley,” is slated for release this year. It is the first film to shoot at Frank Lloyd Wright’s world-renowned masterpiece Falling Water.
Tickets are $20 for general admission or $15 for students with valid ID. They are available in advance at www.thevarsitycenter.eventbrite.com. They are not available in advance at the venue.
The producers of the show highly encourage patrons to wear masks.
